Grief isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s as unique as each of us. In this heartfelt episode, we’re diving into the deeply personal experience of grief with my guest who opens up about her own journey of loss and healing. Together, we’ll talk about how grief can look different for everyone, stages of grief, the unexpected ways it can show up in our lives, and why there’s no “right” way to grieve.

Our guest shares how she navigated the pain of losing people she loved and ultimately found herself in the process. Whether you’re in the thick of grief, supporting someone who is, or just curious about how we grow through loss, this conversation will leave you feeling seen, inspired, and hopeful.

Join us as we explore the beauty and resilience that can emerge from even the darkest times.

I am speaking with Gunjan Pai who is the founder of boutique brand strategy and copywriting studio, Copylove.

She began her 22-year-old career as a copywriter with Ogilvy & Mather and Lowe Lintas. She then transitioned to building Copylove. While she was building the agency, her husband was diagnosed with a chronic disease and passed away a few years after that.

Now Gunjan not only had to keep her business going but she also had to raise her young son. As if this wasn’t hard enough, soon after her husband’s death, she got more bad news regarding her mother and mother-in-law.

Gunjan says that she did not have time to reflect on her losses and grieve. She had to pick herself and keep going but that didn’t go well for her. Let’s hear from Gunjan how she took back control, how she came to terms with her situation, what helped her during her toughest times and what helps her now. It’s a vulnerable discussion on sorrow and strength which is going to act as a ray of hope for anyone who listens to it so please share with someone who needs it.
