I am speaking with Arjun award winning swimmer Nisha Millet. Being an accomplished athlete and entrepreneur, Nisha has been through her own set of challenges.
Mental toughness plays a big role in an athlete’s life but it doesn’t mean that they don’t face mental health challenges. In-fact they have to put on a brave face even when they are not feeling their best. Nisha will share her story, her mental health challenges, her mindset and the power of being kind to yourself.
Nisha Millet has many achievements under her belt- she has won more than 600 gold medals at State, National and International Meets. She has represented India at the world swimming championships (1998 and 2004) & 1998 Asian Games. Nisha was the first Indian to qualify for swimming at the Olympics in the 200 metre freestyle (Sydney 2000). She is now an entrepreneur and runs her swimming academy. She is also a wife and a mother to two girls.
